In this episode I talk to Christian Landgren about Öppna Skolplattformen (open school platform) that aims to fix a broken IT system created by the City of Stockholm.
Instead of being grateful, the city decided to do everything it could to kill the project. They even filed a police report and resorted to pity tactics in order to sabotage it.

Doug has made a million dollars on Upwork working as a PPC (Pay-Per-Click) specialist. He worked as bartender and retrained himself to be a Google Ads specialist and is now able to support his family solely working on Upwork. He's been on the platform since Elance days and shares a lot of his insights such as attracting clients, setting pricing, getting first gigs, managing failures and handling bad reviews.

This week, I was joined by the lovely Andrea from Putler to discuss their humble beginnings. Back in 2010, after being frustrated by not being able to clearly analyze their sales on PayPal, they soon noticed how inefficient the process was. So, they decided to solve the problem themselves. Together, they developed a web application to see the data from their various online shops in one place.
Join us as we discuss how they managed to grow organically and create a great product that their customers are still using a decade later.

Have you ever wondered why some PPC specialists get the most out of their campaigns while others can’t get their ads to convert? In many cases, it’s because they are using bid optimization tools for their marketing campaigns. Bidding software is used to optimize bids (how much you’re willing to pay for ad clicks) many times a day. The software bases its decisions on many different data points such as profit, conversion value, and more.
In this episode, I am talking with Reza Zadeh from AdSpert (adspert.net) about bid optimization tools, which they provide for Google Ads, Amazon, Bing, and Yandex.

In this episode I talk to Carol from Leadfeeder about website visitor tracking in B2B.
We often lose potential leads because we are unaware that they visited our site. But with the ability to match IP addresses with company data, we can see which companies are potentially interested in our services.
In B2B, every lead is valuable. With Leadfeeder's website visitor tracking, you have access to data you can’t see in Google Analytics (which companies visited your site, their size, industry, location, and so on).
Coupled with CRM and Zappier integration, you can then do some cool stuff such as finding out if an old client is shopping around for a vendor, or seeing when your proposals are being reviewed by your prospective client.
